This recipe was inspired by my dear friend Nancy Ellis. She made this on our opening weekend. Little did we know then that this dish would become our signature recipe.
Preheat oven to 350°. Sauté onion in the butter until lightly brown. Spread onion mixture on the bottom of the pie shell. Add ham, then cheese to onion layer. Mix eggs, milk, cream and flour together in a large mixing bowl. Carefully pour mixture over cheese ham and onion layers. Sprinkle rosemary on top. Bake for 45 minutes or until completely set (some ovens may take much longer.) If the cheese starts to brown too quickly before the quiche is set, cover with tented foil. Enjoy!
