Women everywhere tend to suffer from the “putting yourself last” syndrome. You know how it is…”sure, you take the last piece”, “no I’m fine”, “I’ll do it”, “let me take care of that”, “other people come first” and then “what about my needs?!”. It’s so common. We want to be nice, we want people to like us but who ends up at the bottom of our lists? Ourselves! If you’ve found yourself in this place, you probably end up feeling quite out of balance, because everyone else’s needs are coming before yours. There is a solution for this – Stop the self neglect and Start to practice self-love. In this month of Valentine’s Day with an emphasis on Love, how about taking a morning to appreciate yourself, learn a little about how to practice good self-care, and put those principles into action by gifting yourself with precious time spent at a a morning tea party with scones.
